Did you know that VITRUM surfaces can be used as a Splashback?

VITRUM surfaces can be used as a splashback, however there are requirements that need to be followed and should be recognised before cupboards and benchtops are designed and signed off.

If installing VITRUM surfaces as a splashback, in accordance with AS/NZS5601 Standards, the gas cooktop requires a 200mm gap from the periphery of the gas burner to theVITRUM surfaces splashback. If selecting a gas burner, we strongly recommend you speak with your cabinetmaker/builder or stonemason and inform them of your decision. The main reason for this is due to the 200mm setback from the edge of the burner, in which the benchtop size (width) may need to increase to accommodate required setback (AS/NZS5601standard).

If installing an induction, or electric cooktop, the setbacks are not as great and only require a 50mm gap from the back edge of the cooktop to the VITRUM surfaces splashback.
